Code of Conduct

If you believe a school, volunteer, or the Organizing Committee (OC) has violated the Code of
Conduct, please submit your complaint directly to the Board of Directors (BOD) via email at
directors@jdcwest.com, including the below information in your submission:
1. Subject Line: Code of Conduct Violation - [Your School Name] - [Nature of Violation]
2. Clearly outline the violation, citing the specific section(s) of the Code of Conduct.
3. Please describe what happened.
4. If you’d like, please describe the desired resolution or outcome of your complaint.

Disputes

Example Copy for Disputes (Handbook Violations):
Disputes against a school, volunteer, or the Organizing Committee (OC) related to the
Handbook should be submitted directly to the Organizing Committee (OC). If the dispute is
against the OC, it will be forwarded to the Board of Directors (BOD). Please submit your
complaint using this form.


Example Copy for Process:

  1. 1. Initial Assessment: We will conduct an initial assessment of the complaint to determine its validity and seriousness.

  2.  Investigation: For Code of Conduct Violations, the BOD will initiate a thorough investigation. For Disputes, the OC will handle the investigation, unless the Dispute is against the OC.

  3. Resolution Timeline: We strive to resolve complaints promptly and fairly. The resolution timeline may vary based on the complexity and nature of the complaint. We understand the importance of timely resolution and aim to provide a response within 24 hours, or as deemed reasonable depending on the complexity and nature of the complaint.
