What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? I decided to join the OC to leave a positive impact on the student experience. What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? My goal as VP Academic is to design a competition that challenges students to think differently about what the future of business could look like. Students will be able to leverage this year’s theme, Harnessing Authenticity for Success, to explore what true authentic leadership looks like for their own careers, companies, and  communities. 🥇

What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? I am passionate about athletics and thrive on healthy competition. My goal is to create a fun and welcoming environment where athletes can compete and push themselves while fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among participants. I hope to develop a gym space that is inviting for other delegates to come and cheer their team on, making it a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.🏋🏼

What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? I hope to be able to use my creativity, tenacity, and energy to give back to the student community in a way I haven't done before. It's competitions like JDC West that enable students to make the most of the time they are currently experiencing and I want to use my commitment to JDC West as a way of paying back the people who made my student experience so memorable.💯

Your position outside of JDCW? I am the Sales and Catering Coordinator at Calaway Park, Calgary's local amusement park. I have worked here seasonally since I was 15 (I'll be celebrating my 10th season this year!), starting in the Restaurants department. I became a Captain at 16, a Lead at 18, and then entered this permanent, full time role in November 2022!🎡

What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? I am really excited to be able to help bring this event back to Calgary and make it the best we absolutely can. I think it will be an absolutely amazing experience and I can't wait to see how an in-person comp operates!🏆

Position outside of JDCW? I am currently working as an Operations Analyst at Rohit group. Before this, I spent time as a Consultant in the Technology Strategy & Transformation practice at PwC. I bring strong debate competencies honed over years of engaging with diverse stakeholders, including various levels of student government.  My skill set spans academia, parliamentary debates, and a proficient understanding of Robert's Rules of Order. 🐐

What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? I joined the OC because I wanted to strengthen my connection to the Alberta business community and the emerging leaders within it. Calgary hosts an especially exciting and vibrant business community, and as someone with both experience in and a passion for event planning, this role with the Gala portfolio seemed like an excellent opportunity to leverage my "authentic self" to showcase Calgary and the young talent that resides here.

What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? The theme of this year was what made me join the OC. I wanted to give back to the student community, and with over 600 undergraduate students participating in JDC West, the opportunity to empower student leaders to bring their authentic self to a traditional business case competition drives me in the work I do in this role

What do you plan to achieve as an OC member this year? I’m a firm believer that competing in this competition is what can set a student apart from others in a pile of resumes. JDC West fosters a level of discipline, confidence, creativity, and fortitude unlike any other competition I experienced in my undergraduate degree.

Favourite cuisine? ANYTHING seafood, with a very close second being traditional Ukrainian cuisine.
